a soft gray t-shirt. The t-shirt is accompanied by a pair of brown pants, which has many pockets. The t-shirt pants combo seems to do little in the
way of protection someone from the cold, so he can also often be seen wearing hunting jacket with a camouflage design. Although Garret feels that it is quite ugly,
it does help him blend into the forest. Garret's hair doesn't appears to be all over the place, refusing to settle down in one spot . It's shorter length, which makes the
appear almost spiky. His light brown hair accompanied by a bit of five'0 clock shadow. Garret's eyes are a soft blue, a mixture of darker and lighter blues when
looked into more deeply. The type of eyes that said look at me, give me your attention, One's that were not easy to avoid.
Personality:
Garret has a strong will. If there is one thing in this world he believes in, that is himself. He is determined to make his promises a reality, and won't stop until
the time of his last breath. Garret is also kind, attempting to do so for everyone he meets in the world. Of course, this becomes difficult, but his own morals help
him stay strong. Garret is the kind of person that laughs when they are uncomfortable. He's strong, empathetic, good-willed, and short tempered. His anger does not
spout with everything, but when someone does something that makes him angry it can make him lose control quite easily. In fact, his anger is the one thing that can make him break
his own morals. Garret is also very intelligent, he thinks scenarios out in advance, and plans strategies to tackle those situations. He thinks and acts with Intelligence,
and backs it all up with his strength. Of course, his anger hinders both the way he thinks, and the way he reacts to situations.
Alignment:
Neutral Good. Although Garret is all about helping others, sometimes he has to stop and ask. "What's in it for me?"
Likes:
Freedom, Happiness, Love, Helping Others, but most of all seeing someone smile.
Dislikes:
People who are full of themselves, People who refuse help, but clearly need it, people who turn on their own beliefs.
Strengths:
Intelligent thinking, backed with strength equal to his intelligence. A rich background of hunting experience, and strength with bows and melee weapons.
Almost a veteran at keeping himself from being spotted, and acting tactically.
Weaknesses:
His anger can sometimes get the better of him, disrupting his natural thinking, and becoming more animalistic in nature. He also tends to shoot for non-lethal zones, keeping his enemies alive.
This does not make things easy for him, in fact the odds are usually against him. He also tends to trust others far too quickly for the world that they are in.
History and Background:
Garret was born without recollection of his mother and father. In fact, Garret was raised by his Grandfather, and Grandmother. His Grandfather, was a very kind old man, and his Grandmother was more so skeptical. Garret was raised on the belief that he could make his dreams a possibility, and all it took was determination and guts, as well as believing that anything was possible. That old man drilled many things into him, but the most ridiculous thing he drilled into his head, well that was that one day Garret would be able to be a Hero. This ideal became Garret's dream, and he became determined to follow it. It didn't help much when the old man even started calling him his 'Little Hero".
When Garret turned 10 his Grandfather took him hunting, he felt that it was a good skill to teach the child. People always needed food. His Grandfather taught him all the tricks to survive in the wild. The most notable memory of Garret's was the first time he failed to kill. Garret and his Grandfather were laying atop a hill covered in snow. His Grandfather was breathing heavily, and pointed out how his breath was easily seen. The steam escaping from his mouth. "Animals, and people can see this quite easily" He pointed out to the young Hero. His Grandfather then grabbed some snow, and put it in his mouth. Then when he began to breath, there was no steam exhaling from his mouth. Garret couldn't believe all the things his grandfather knew. They were not big things, but little things that all seemed to add up.
"Here it is" His grandfather whispered quietly as a deer appeared. Garret notched an arrow, and readied his aim. Garret was quite good with a bow, and his grandpa preferred he use on because the pelts were much cleaner. However, Garret could not release the bow. Garret was suppose to be the Hero, how could he kill? His Grandpa was a little upset, but they continued, and when his first kill came Garret couldn't really tell what he was supposed to feel. His Grandpa made him feel much better however within his explanation. "We kill to eat, to survive. We don't want to harm animals, but sometimes we have to. What would happen if your Grandmother was to starve? A Hero is allowed to kill if it is to provide the ones he loves with food, and protection. Only kill for the ones you love Hero" His Grandfather certainly made a good point, and from now on he would follow those words exactly.
When the Infected first hit the world, Garret was more than ready. His Grandfather may not have been normal, but he was a man with great integrity, and he taught Garret many skills. However the apocalypse began to change him. At first, he wasn't sure if he was suppose to kill the infected. He dismembered them, grizzly, but was it better than killing them? He realized dismembering, or using a weapon to remove a leg or arm, did not stop them. They were not human. Realizing this he was more than able to put the Infected lives out. This world made him question if his beliefs were true, and as he scrambled for survival, like everyone else, he began to question his morals. Were they worth keeping in a world like this?

Roleplay Example:
"Come on Garret" A raspy old voice called out. "What are we doing Grandpa?" Garret asked so innocently. "We are going hunting again." Grandpa responded kindly. Garret nodded silently in disappointment knowing that for the last 4 times he returned empty handed. Garret grabbed his bow following his grandpa who grabbed a rifle, probably just in case they ran into wolves. They headed a few hours into the forest, finding a good sturdy tree, he told Garret to climb it. Garret began climbing the tree, the colder branches on his bare hands made him shiver and shake. He did this a lot, and tactically it was a smart choice. Higher elevation made it much easier to see the forest. His grandpa did the same on a tree beside Garrets. The two of them sat for hours, none of them saying a word, waiting. The forest was silent, other then the occasional noise the wind made rubbing against the tree.
Eventually deer appeared. Walking right underneath them. "Now" Gramps whispered just loud enough for Garret to hear, however all the dear popped their heads up upon hearing it too, looking for any sign of a threat. Garret notched his bow, drew, and fired. It hit one of the deer, and eventually they all ran off, One leaving a blood trail. However, Garret was not happy from this. In fact tears appeared in his eyes. "Garret, calm down, we need to stay calm, you still need to climb down! We need to track it" Garret could not stop his tears. "I am not a Hero anymore Grandpa.." "Garret... We kill to eat, to survive. We don't want to harm animals, but sometimes we have to. What would happen if your Grandmother was to starve? A Hero is allowed to kill if it is to provide the ones he loves with food, and protection. Only kill for the ones you love Hero, don't you think a Hero can do that?"
Garret swallowed taking a deep breath. "Yes Grandpa," His tears residing. "Good, now come on let's go track that deer"
